I got a random thought today. When you say you must do something "At all cost," what are you really implying?

When you say all cost, you imply everything. Anything that is spendable. Which is in fact, everything. So for example lets see you're playing a football game with your team and your coach says you must win at all costs, this means you must be ready to go over the boundaries to win this game. If it requires you to sacrifice your life or to even kill off your teammates, you must do this to win at all costs. Well let's not put "must" but it is considered a definite option if such a thing is required.

I don't think a lot of people understand what it is that they say sometimes.

Like people that comment on YouTube.

I'm going to start adding quotes occasionally to posts. Simply because I think they're cool. Exciting. Wise. Etc.

All of this is true. Oh goodness me.

The Kill Bored you see before you're very eyes (If you're reading this within a couple weeks after I posted this) will be gone very soon, and replaced with a new site...but, we will none the less still be, Kill Bored. Or KiBo for short, :3

Let's start. This is in fact, Kill Bored's Hundredth blog post. The blog has been redone (which you can see here: http://killbored.blogspot.com/ , as well as subscribe via blogger, google, etc), and the website is going to be replaced (yes you few who are on here have to re-signup, boo hoo).

The forum and website are going to be recreated and merged. That's right. The Main Site will be login able too. AND there will be member only content and features.

And this is where we get into applications.

EVERYONE from the original KiBo, and anyone who joins, and wants to have a position doing something other than just being a member, has to fill out an application.

The forum will need a moderator, yes. Maybe a few as we get bigger. BUT the site will also need work too. We can't just have spammers, noobs, annoying 12 year olds, etc, posting random crap all over Kill Bored....which is why I have created a new member position, called "KiBo Security". KiBo Security will not only browse the forums, but also the entire website, editing member submitted content (coming soon...eventually.), and deleting bad posts on the site, such as spam, porn, etc, and even banning members that don't follow rules.

But, to get such a position, you must fill out an application and be manually approved through the application process. Kill Bored is looking for mature team members who are willing to work well with the Administrators, and be Mature in a teenage environment. There are currently no paid positions at this time, though people who apply and prove useful if hired, may be offered paid positions in the future.

If we can't find a reliable team to run security on our site, than member made content may not exist. At least until we have a fool-proof system.

As we grow from this point, as always, we are open to your suggestions on what you want for the site and your enjoyment.

I'd like to mention this group and their work against the Australian government.

The Australian government is trying to censor the internet in their country. They say this is primarily to stop child pornography and anything resembling it. They use the term resembling very lightly. Meaning any girl with small breasts. Yeah, you read that right. If the girl so much as looks like she might be younger than twenty, it will be considered child pornography. Owning a nude picture of your girlfriend (even if both of you are older than 18) who has small breasts can get you jail time for possession of child pornography. They will not be listing the sites they ban. They will also be completely guiltless should they ban something that should not be banned. It is even possible this ban will include some sites advocating abortion.

Anonymous has no list of demands. They have no creed. They just do not forgive, and do not forget. They have taken out the Australian governments site for a full twenty-four hours, and attacked a multitude of others related to the Australian government. Personally, I support their decisions.

Hey kiddies, it's been a while. Canada was good, but I did miss the ol' U.S.A (Not really, just a few people).

I missed you guys... Almost. But anyway, I'm going to try to talk to Richard about some possible updates we can do. I think most of them will go over pretty well. I can't update the site until I talk to Richard about them though, because he's missing a few things on the site.

I might not be on for much this week though. It's my last week before school starts and i have a lot to do. Today I have to update my computer's parts (another 40 gb harddrive, 256 mb more ram). The ram might not be compatible, so it might take longer than I hope it will.

I would like to state that thanks to FeedBurner.com, KillBored's blog is now integrated into the home page. Hell yes! Now we just gotta get the forum down and it will all be one big amazing site.

Well, so far the forum updates are going great. We've got new logos to represent the new posts in topics. It's simple. If the K is glowing, there's a new reply/topic, if not there isn't. And if there's a logo with the word "SUB" under it, that means there's new topics in the subsections only.

I'd also like to point out that there's a new section. It's the Advertise section. Richard raped the old site with new site goodness. Hell yeah.

He also fixed *most* of the glitches. You'll notice the side menu now has entries in Green so they look much better. He fixed the extra separator in the sidebar, fixed the red & bold glitch, fixed the entirety of the web design page, and almost has the sidebar done. Almost. I noticed a glitch on a few pages, I'll get him to fix it.

Tim Hortons has the best donuts in the entire North America. Anyone who likes Krispy Kreme more is a dirty commie.

When I get back, I'll add some minor updates. It'll be so awesome. You'll barely notice I returned.

Also, I think I've figured out that I'm responsible for telling you what Richard did (so he feels appreciated) and he's responsible for all major updates, while I just throw in some small content additions. And of course keep the blog going. I hope we one day get to the point of new posts twice a day, all about something awesome we've found. That day will come, kiddies. =]

Oh and by the way, America is Canada's bitch. Canada be pimpin' America out.

I'm returning to the homeland! That's right, dear ol' Canada. I'll be leaving the 24th and returning in two - two and a half weeks.

I'm excited. Camping and kicking ass with my dad, visiting family, buying obscure foods. It'll be awesome. Bring the fiyah.

You're sitting at home, on the computer. You hear a door open, and a yell. "Come help with the groceries!" Hell yes, you think. It's been a month since they went shopping. You put all the groceries away, looking at all the snacks.

It's tomorrow, and you're starving. You open the cabinet for your favorite cereal, and... Balls. The hoe got Kix. Or maybe Cheerios. Or Fiber-O's. Or whatever cereal you think is boring. They were on sale, of course she got them.

Regardless of the cereal or why, you have them. And you have to eat them.

I'm sure you've thought of some chocolate/strawberry syrup before, and probably a bit of sugar, right?

Well, did you ever consider normal syrup? It sounds kind of disgusting, but it's really delicious. You can also use chocolate Nesquick powder.

Oh, and a recommendation for all you Cheetoh lovers out there. The Giant Flaming Hot Cheetos... Which are essentially round balls of hot cheese... Are delicious. They are much hotter than regular flaming hot cheetohs, and taste great. Pick up a bag on your way home from whatever the hell it is you do.

A Probably Unrealistic View On Downloading

There are a lot of people who view illegal downloading as stealing. This is true. It is stealing. But not the way I came up with.

People claim that downloading is like stealing a real CD. Well then, lets treat it as such.

Let's say a new album comes out. One person buys it. This person can copy the CD onto their computer, burn a CD for themselves, and then give the original to a friend.

So, therefore, if I buy a file online, I may copy it for my own use, and then give the original file to a torrent site. Or I could even SELL it, much like I can sell a CD.

Thinking of downloading as if it's "Just like stealing" doesn't make any sense. It doesn't add up. By doing that online, I could not only make more money then I spent, but I could literally give everyone in the entire world a legal copy of whatever I wanted, spending a hefty fee of 1$. I think it's time companies rethought their arguments against illegal downloading.

I'd also like to point out that if it was just like stealing a real CD, why is it possible you'll get off scott-free? Maybe just a warning from the store. Why the hell has it gone from a $500 fee and two days in jail (Multiply 48 x the money you make an hour to get the total cost) to upwards of $80,000 a song?

Granted, that's about as high as it gets. But $9250 is as low as it gets.
